Handmade sister dolls

I promised I would show you the dolls I made for my nieces' birthday gifts to go with the quilts.

 I used fabric paint to freehand the faces and they had sweet little aprons from lace.

 I used the Black Apple pattern which is free and can be found here then added some pigtails with a sketch I did myself.
