Black Friday 2020: When?

As you’re probably aware, Black Friday is a massive once-a-year sale. Consider it the official start of the holiday shopping season.

In 2020, it’s going to take place on the following date:

Black Friday – November 29, 2020

As always, the sales take place on the first post-Thanksgiving Friday, continue throughout the weekend, and then finish up strong in the online world the following Monday.

A Brief History of Cyber Monday & Official Dates

Okay, before I get to the actual fun part – all the Cricut machine deals I managed to get under one roof here – I’d like to take a moment to go over a brief history of Cyber Monday with you and show you how this shopping event came to be.

I’ll start at the beginning, as they say.

Unlike Black Friday and shopping in brick-and-mortar stores, the concept of shopping online is relatively new. But once it finally took off, its popularity skyrocketed enough to turn into a full-blown online-based shopping event.

And if you think about it, the convenience of shopping from home and avoiding crowds of Black Friday shoppers, and the 24-hour availability are tough to beat.

In 2005, less than 15 years ago, these online Black Friday hangover sales finally got their name – Cyber Monday.

Cricut Expression 1

(A Somewhat Outdated Cricut Classic)

If there ever was a Cricut unit that deserved the oldie-but-goodie title, it’s the Expression 1 Electronic Cutting Machine. When it first appeared, it was quite an innovation with its easy-to-use, portable design, six modes of operation, and four different functions. Plus, it was capable of making cuts that were as big as 23.5 inches, or as small as 0.25 inches. It’s still impressive, but unfortunately, it lacks some essential software updates of newer models.

As the name suggests, the Cricut Mini is a slightly more compact, yet equally efficient Cricut machine for those who typically work on smaller crafty projects. Don’t Skip The Accessories: Bundles Are A Much Better Deal

If you come across entire Cricut bundles during this year’s sales, be sure to grab one!
