Although I didn't use the tutorial, I did get the idea from this post at My Favorite Things. Just wanted to put that out there.
So, today I'm going to show you how to fancify (yes, sometimes I make words up) your binder clips, as well as do a little shameless self promotion because I have big news!
What you need-
Binder clips (I call them bulldog clips, I don't know if that's a universal name or not)
Mod Podge (or white glue will work just fine)
Foam paint brush
Fabric scraps
Small, sharp, scissors
Cut a scrap a little larger than the surface area of your clip. Apply mod podge, or glue, to one side and the top of your clip. Smooth fabric over and trim extra. Apply mod podge to back side of clip and finish wrapping your fabric trimming the final side as you smooth it out. I found this was the best method for me, but you could make yourself a template and cut all your fabric to side ahead of time.
Now for the very exciting news. I was contacted yesterday by a very popular home magazine for a product from my Taylored Arts shop on Etsy to be used in their June issue! I'm a bit hesitant to mention which magazine as I was supposed to be in a copy of Mary Englebreit's about a year ago and they went out of publish just before my issue was due out :( But stay tuned, as soon as I have my June issue in hand (it's even a magazine we subscribe to!) I will be shouting it from the rooftops. Now what are you still doing here, go to Taylored Arts and get some bookplates before I become super famous LOL.

I am so happy for you! All of your hard work is paying off! In between chasing three kids under 3 years old, substitute teaching being a MAMOMs board member, you still take time for you and your passion of art. It's never easy balancing everything, and you seem to do it!
Love, Galoshes

Congratulations! How exciting! Those binder clips are adorable. I had a friend who used a binder clip as a money clip. He said he tried a gazillion money clips and they were the best. Hmmmm....I guess you could use a "manly" fabric or scrapbook paper for fellas, huh?!
