Time to share some more sampler pics from my stitchalong project. So many of you have mentioned that you would like to maybe try hand embroidery. I think the only thing I have every actually been shown (and not just figured out myself) was a french knot, which my grandma showed me. And I didn't have a huge interest in doing any embroidery until I found the book Doodle Stitching
I doodle my ideas in by pencil. Here is an example of some squares coming up.

Those are too cute!! I have never been all that interested in embroidery, because of the "old lady patterns", but this idea really appeals to me, I love doodling!! BTW, been following your blog for a couple of weeks, LOVE IT!!
