Call me an oddball if you want, but my mid-twenties were spent discovering and learning about the intricate skill of embroidering by hand.
Yes, you read that right.
The Oaxacan women that kindly taught me everything I know about embroidery did it by hand – no fancy machines, and certainly no computerized ones.

I was thinking about this not-so-affordable side of embroidery, and I decided to help you on your journey the only way I know. How?

Black Friday & Cyber Monday Sales In 2019: Official Dates
The first Friday after Thanksgiving is reserved for Black Friday sales. This year, it will be Friday, November 29.
And only three days later, when the stores start to clear out, the discounts move into the online realm. That’s where Cyber Monday comes in and steals the show. In 2019, the sales will take place on December 2.
While you wait, you can check out Amazon’s Today’s Deals page, too. There are discounted embroidery machines available for sale as we speak!
Now that you know the dates let’s get to the real deals!
Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals: Online Vs. In-Store Shopping
There’s a way to snatch some fantastic discounts and deals, including embroidery machines and other sewing equipment and accessories without ever stepping foot into the actual store.
Yes, I’m talking about shopping for a new embroidery machine online.
And if you think about it, doing your shopping online, rather than in brick-and-mortar stores does have its advantages.
Everything is a click away – and there are no insanely long lines to wait in at the register. If you ask me, that alone beats fighting off crowds and bargain hunters by a long shot.
Now, if you’re worried that you might miss on a deal because you chose to stay at home, don’t fret. There are things you can do to ensure that you have all the latest news related to Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
Become An Amazon Prime Member
As you might know, being an Amazon Prime member comes with certain perks. And there’s more to it besides the free two-day shipping – which is particularly handy during sales season.
You’ll be the first to know, and considering that a lot of these offers are time-sensitive, that can be a huge advantage.
If you’re not sure how to go Prime, watch this tutorial:
