A Brief History of Cyber Monday & Official Dates
Okay, before I get to the actual fun part – all the Cricut machine deals I managed to get under one roof here – I’d like to take a moment to go over a brief history of Cyber Monday with you and show you how this shopping event came to be.
I’ll start at the beginning, as they say.
Unlike Black Friday and shopping in brick-and-mortar stores, the concept of shopping online is relatively new. But once it finally took off, its popularity skyrocketed enough to turn into a full-blown online-based shopping event.

It’s a model that doesn’t have that sleek, modern appearance of their newer releases – and uses a somewhat outdated cartridge-based system, too. Despite that, it managed to stay relative enough not to be left out during the sales season.
I’m not sure that you’ll see a lot – if any – Cricut Personal Electronic Cutting Machine deals this year, but it’s worth noting that it rocked the market once upon the time!
