We have a ton of lilac bushes in the yard which I LOVE. They are so fragrant, I had to share.
It's supposed to rain here all weekend, but I love thunderstorms so I'm going to choose to enjoy the rainy days and my house filled with the scent of lilac!

i just took photo's of my lilacs in that same basket:) we have a ton of them too. that was the main reason for buying this house. i just wish they lasted longer.
ReplyDeleteWish we had some in our yard. They are beautiful! My mom has a bush but they don't bloom here until June because of the cool weather.

Oh how I miss lilacs!! The beauty and most of all THE FRAGRANCE! I grew up in Idaho so I knew lilacs well but I've lived away for so long that I almost can't remember how good they smell!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Lilacs, their scent is just wonderful. Such pretty photos in the basket. So happy to have come across your blog, have a lovely weekend, Catherine
ReplyDeleteLove the lilacs. Ours were pretty much non-existent this year when it came to blooming for some reason. Yours smell yummy!
ReplyDeletei planted a lilac bush here in texas 5 years ago. finally this year i got my first blooms. although it was only three heads i rejoiced. i searched for a lilac that would stand this zone and sometimes dispaired that it was going to bloom. but it proved me wrong. and just those three heads sent out a heady fragrance.
