I've seen a few different options out there for headband organization, a ribbon/loop hanger, recycled oatmeal containers..... The ribbon hanger doesn't accommodate elastic headbands and I don't have room for a bunch of oatmeal containers right now. So I've been racking my brain as to how to store the headbands as I've started to accumulate quite a few. Then today it hit me. Five mintues later, I'm all organized and my headbands are not getting smooshed!
What you need-
Empty drawer, I use a lot of
rubbermaid drawer
organizers (because I'm obsessed with organization, do not confuse this with being a neat freak, I am far from neat)
Old towels
Two hands, well that's probably not even true, you could easily do this one handed.
Fold your towels to the width of your drawer and roll. I was using up old baby towels so I had to double them up. One full size towel should be about right though.
Repeat until your drawer is full, see where I'm going with this?
AHHHH..... everyone is cozy and happy and all fluffed up ready to go. Now go organize something!

Oh, you must have read my mind!! I was just trying to figure out a solution for my (5-year-old) dd's headbands this week. She loves them because it allows her to "fix" her own hair, but I hate having them scattered all over her bedroom, the bathroom ...
Anyway, I have an extra drawer organizer, so I'll be doing this in the next few minutes. Thanks so much!!

This is a great idea! I love headbands but rarely wear them because I can never find the one I'm looking for. Now, I'll have them all neat and tidy in a box. Thank you! :)
