What I did during the blizzard

The plan is to frame it and put it in my daughters room at our next place.  I want her room to be super girly and airy.  Not sure if I'm loving the ombre or not.  But I think once it's in a frame it should look very cute!  I found the inspiration typography on pintrest.

GORGEOUS! I think embroidery might be the next hobby I dig into...with results like this...just so classic and pretty! What a wonderful way to spend your time blizzard-ed in!

Gorgeous! That looks pretty intricate--how long did it take/what stitches did you use?

And. This post is the straw that breaks the camel's back--I'm heading over to Pinterest right now to finally see what all the hype is about!

I'm glad you guys like it! It took me about 3 hours I think. Completed most of it in the time it took the kids to watch Toy Story 3, and then about an hour more LOL. The stitches are satin and backstitch. Nothing complicated :) Working on an even easier one now (for myself), can't wait to share it!

Very pretty. I love embroidery. Have you ever tried Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery. I started a project years ago, but I have yet to finish it! I need to get back to it now that I have a good light on my side of the couch!
