I have so many books requested at the library right now! I love books they may be my favorite thing, but bookmarks I have an issue with. I've always been a dog ear person (you know, folding down the top corner of the page to mark my spot). Bookmarks always fall out then I have no clue where I was. But I don't like to dog ear books that don't belong to me (or even some that do). I'm sure you've seen this idea around, I would give credit for the idea, but I've seen it to many places to know who to give credit to! Anywho- in case you haven't....
I love it because it fits all different size books.
Sew a length of ribbon around a hair tie, attach a button on the other end (I gathered the ribbon under the button for interest) and your set!
By using our
thomas sabo chains and
dental insurance facility, you can carry your
anne klein watches anywhere along with you. The
rado watches and
tag heuer watches is also accessible feature.

I haven't seen this either and it's genius! I love it. As a fellow dog earrer too, I would be reformed if I had one. :)
that's a super easy idea! I'm going to make this today!
love this, thank you for posting!
LOVE this idea! I have never seen it either. I have two little helpers that like to "read" my books and lose my place, this might be a perfect solution. Thanks for sharing!
I love that idea. Beats the random scraps of paper I usually use. Thanks for sharing!
How easy is that! I think I'll make one for my journal. Then I'll need a few more for my quilting books! Thanks
I haven't seen that either! How cute. I'll have to make some! I absolutely HATE dog eared books. It drives me crazy to get a book from the library that has been dog eared.
I've never seen them before, either, so thanks for posting! I love books, too, and never seem to have a bookmark when I need one. I tend to turn my books upside down, which drives my husband crazy. :) He insists I'm cracking the bindings.
So cute...will definitely do this!
Found you via Stumble Upon...I'm a dog-ear person, too. Thanks for the diy project! :)

Could you please tell me what length ribbon to cut-as you mentioned it fits most books. Love this and I just bought some metallic hair ties a couple of days ago-r.charise@yahoo.com
Thankyou Loving your site so much!!
Blingchic,
the email address you left is getting kicked back at me, so hopefully you see this here! The ribbons I used were scraps but I would say ten inches would be pretty universal :)
Thank you - am making some right now-would you mind if I link you up on my new blog and facebook?
I don't mind at all ;)
TFS...cute, simple and effective!
