Puddle Jumping

It's been raining a lot here lately.  Some pretty impressive thunderstorms.  I love the storms (although I don't love the damage they are doing for some). The other day it rained mid day and produced a beautiful rainbow right in front of the house.
It was actually 2 rainbows, you can kind of see a bit of the second one in the top right corner of the picture.  The building there is the one room school house my mom got about a year ago, isn't it cute! Someday when we get all of our storage out of it I will show it to you properly.

We took the opportunity to dance in the rain.
By the way, the dress Nadia is wearing was one of my early tutorials (in case you missed it).  You can find it here.

Beautiful children, scenery, and rainbow! It never ceases to entertain me when a child plays in the water or mud. Not having children to clean up, I do find it adorably funny to watch them examine the two. :)

Such a wonderful moment to capture on camera. My husband is currently on emergency active duty to help with the floods caused by all that rain we've been getting as well. They said he will be gone 2 weeks only for 12 hours shifts at a time, let's just hope for the sanity of you and me -- it flies! :)

p.s. I made that dress for my little bit only in teal :)

Hurray for jumping in puddles! One of my favorite rainy day activities. Great to see your galoshes there at the end. Cutie pie kids to boot!

Now - tell us all about that school house. I'm fascinated!
