Hey guys! I hope you had a wonderful relaxing weekend. I'm sure you've noticed I have had a lot of activity going on here lately (giveaways galore!). I wanted to take a moment and tell you what's up with me. I'm very excited that MJ&G is taking off and that you guys like what I'm doing here. I don't plan on changing that, this blog is after all first and foremost for me and my personal outlet. But you guys are what keep me going, creating, and chugging along so I like to give back both to the winners who read this blog and the shops who sponsor it either by ad space or by giveaways. You will still see lots of my original projects with tutorials as the blog was built on. Some of you will love all the action, some of you will decide I'm no longer for you, and I understand that. I'm doing what's best for me and my visions for MJ&G.
That said, I have some fun stuff coming up. There are two giveaways a week now through mid July (and that's just so far!). Two a week is a lot I know, but there are so many great shops out there who responded that I didn't want anyone to have to wait three months so I'm hoping you all don't feel overwhelmed with excitement and just enjoy the ride.
I pulled my wedding dress out of storage today and took my scissors to it (yes I'm serious!) can't wait to show you all the great projects it's making. Much more useful then sitting in storage believe me. I'm (we're) about to celebrate 7 years of marriage so it was time to do something with that beautiful dress. I could probably do an entire month of things made from it!
Anyway, just wanted to let you guys in on what MJ&G has in store for the summer. I hope you are having as much fun as I am and find that you like the new things I'm doing in addition to the old favorites. (I know some of you are so new here you don't know any different, welcome and thank you for stopping in!) I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Kudos to you for having the courage to do something else with your wedding dress! And way to go for taking your blog where you feel it should be! I'm fairly new to MJ&G but I have appreciated/enjoyed reading your thoughts and projects and the giveaways are a fun addition to that.
