So going with my woodland theme I know there are going to be a gnome, and a deer at some point. What else do you think I need?

So cute! I like the owl idea. How about a small bridge, a caterpillar or centipede, a butterfly would be pretty. Gosh, wish I had done a butterfly for B. A fox, squirrel? Sound hard to me but I bet you can do it.
I am totally in love with this little sampler! Great job! Are you using a pattern?
I love stitching! I can't wait to see the finished product!
I love your theme and what you have stitched. How about a fawn?
I would like to see a little tiny COTTAGE! The smoke from the chimney could float up into the next square.
have you used mushrooms yet? maybe little red ones with white french knots.
Okay that last comment with my name on it must be mom on my computer this morning.
I love all your ideas! To answer some questions, no I'm not using a pattern, this might sound funny but sometimes if I look at the fabric I can see the outline of something and then I kind of trace it. You know, like you see things in clouds. My husband thinks I'm nuts when I do this as I tend to say "don't you see it?!"
I agree...a mushroom, maybe a mushroom cottage like on the smurfs :)I love love love your bird!
Love the 3D tail on your bunny! And the bird is so sweet!

Your stitches are beautiful! I adore the acorn!!!
A nest of eggs!
OMG, for sure some GALOSHES walking along the forest floor?
I second... or third... the mushroom! Maybe a little stream??? but definitely the mushroom!
