I used the tutorial from Pink Penguin. It was really quick and easy so I will be using it again! It ended up being a lot smaller that I thought the picture made it look, but it's perfect for in your purse, or for a little girl to play with. It ends up to be small enough to sit on your hand, like softball size.
I used just a small dot of valcro, the self adhesive kind, so I didn't have to sew on the closure area. Since the bag is so little it really didn't need any more than that.
I wasn't supposed to sew my top closure flaps together, but they ended up being a bit to long so I didn't like how much they stuck out. next time I will make the top in a different style so that I don't have the extra flaps on the inside.
I was surprised at how quick this sewed up. Of course everything takes longer when you have the kids needing things, but it was a nice project that I could finish in an afternoon even with a million interruptions.

This is so cute! I want to make one. Or twelve. :)
