One of the tutorials I have always been wanting to try is Coffee Filter Roses by Dollar Store Crafts. Mine didn't turn out as realistic as hers, but I do love them.
Above is the orange one before I painted it with the watercolors.
I didn't have any floral wire so I used stems off store bought silk flowers I was popping the heads off anyway.
I didn't do anything to the white one shown so it looks a little more like a magnolia than a rose, but I love it that way. This was my first time making flowers from paper petal by petal like this, it was fun! Enjoy!
Everyone is worried about thomas sabo carrier and the recovery of cheap hotels, now our company offers you lucien piccard watches & guess watches, if you buy both, you get one free watch straps box.

Add CommentThey look awesome! How long did they take?
They are beautiful!!! These would look great on a wreath!!
those are the most realistic dainty coffee filter flowers i have ever seen!!
They took about ten minutes each. There is about 80 petals in each of mine.
Sooo gorgeous! I wonder if you could do the same thing w/cupcake liners?
I made these a few years ago following the tutorial on Martha's website... The creator recommends Costco coffee filters... They look so REAL! Mine still look fresh as ever!
I am going to have to make this project. Your roses turned out beautiful!!
Have a splendid day!
Those turned out gorgeous! I want to make some of those! Cheaper than real, and they last longer too!!
Thanks for visiting my blog! :)

These are gorgeous! Well done and they last forever!
These are so beautiful!!
Who would guess that something so gorgeous could come from coffee filters. I love all the creative projects you come up with. I have a feeling your house is decorated beautifully!
My mom and I made these from the tutorial on Martha Stewart...except I found an easier (not to mention quicker) way to paint them...mix some water and a little bit of the watercolor paint in a spray bottle and squirt the roses. We then hung them upside down to dry, so the darker color concentrated on the tips and it made it look more realistic. Voila! I hope that helps someone! Yours are certainly beautiful too though! I really enjoy your blog! I just found it the other day and now I'm a subscriber!
